During our days at Windermere Road we all have stories to share - don't keep
them to yourself, tell us all! We want teachers names, school photos, famous

We know the "Bricks and Mortar" history of the school - but we want the personal stories, memories, anecdotes, sad stories, funny stories - WHATEVER.
These pictures were taken shortly before the school was demolished in 1995 - then an annexe of Leigh College (to be replaced after demolision by Leigh Image Centre, Wigan's premier Hairdressing College !) We have scoured Leigh and district for other pictures but have drawn a complete blank. We cannot BELIEVE that these are the only pictures in existence. Do you have a picture? - If so we desperately need it.
